I had reviewed this on an earlier version gave it three stars however I have to rated one star because I cant read it any lower. Although I have location services set and change to my location to what I wanted for default when I open up the app it brings me into the city of new guinea or some other god forsaken place in the middle of the ocean. Ive deleted it and I am going to search for another more stable weather app

Poor design. Slow and cumbersome. Search function not very good. Better before this new launch.

I would go into more details, but all the other bad reviews have spoken for me.

The old weather app gave current weather and radar plus hourly data, earnings, etc. this app is horrible.all it gives it current temp. I am deleting this and going to channel 3 app.

Tried to read an article this morning and am advertisement started playing with video and sound. I quit the app right away instead of trying to read it. This was with my ringer off and night mode on too. Nothing will make me quit reading faster than video and audio I cant control, when all I want to do is read.

Countless typos, dead links, glitches and inconsistencies... cant stop rolling eyes

Videos and advertisements now auto play and override the mute switch. I will no longer use this version of the app and get my news elsewhere. I followed a push notification during a meeting just to have my phone blast out the audio track of an advertisement. Unprofessional and unacceptable. This revenue generating scheme is obviously intentional, and they seem to have no interest in changing it. More click bait = bigger bonuses. Other companies should be ashamed to advertise with NBC30.

After last update videos and video commercials open automatically. Very annoying and noisy. If I wanted to watch videos, Id watch TV. Please get rid of the videos.

Im convinced that this app was developed over a case of cheap beer and some dubious burgers. Its not worth the finger-clicks required to download. Use something else. For weather, stick your head out the window...quicker and more accurate. For anything else, you wont live long enough to figure out the mysterious clicks required to get where you want to go. "Intuitive" is not where they were going with this. And one more notification that sends me to a page that has nothing to do with the notification and tells me that the show "will resume in a moment"... Im done. Its now deleted.

The new nbc weather app is worse than the original in every way. I cant add cities outside of the us or Canada, the graphics are awful, its not user friendly. On the old one, lots of information was available from the same page.... Not so with the new app. Please fix the bugs that crashed the old app and BRING IT BACK! Only as a weather app..... I dont need news at the same time as Im checking the weather. I dont even want to give it one star.

The new app is terrible. All I want is a simple weather app like the older one. Now its tied into the whole NBC CT news page. And the news page is sprinkled with all kinds of crap that I would expect in the supermarket tabloids. Somehow they think this an improvement. I think not!!! Im glad apps can be deleted.

The previous weather app was a nice succinct view of your forecast. This app seems to think that when you want weather what you really want is new stories. Im not sure if this app is supposed to be weather only, but it is a step down from the previous weather app. Navigation is awkward and counterintuitive. With an abundance of options for getting weather information I dont see a reason to retain this one.

I seriously dont like the way the aspect ratio is fixed to portrait it is definitely not good for iPad use on a stand

Cant use this app due to constant errors... Useless, frustrating, waste of time.

App tells me I need to connect to Internet even in wifi mode. Whoever developed this app should be fired. Plus the weather section is horrible. A 5 year old with crayons & paper could do better. Of course an update will be years away.

Its now 4:15 pm the day AFTER elections. Polls closed at 8:00 pm yesterday. Where are the results??

Before writing a scathing review, I tried clicking on App Support. After searching the web page I found an email for feedback. However, my mail was returned, no such user. I guess this is the only recourse. Every other review has it accurately, this app is unsatisfactory to the point of being unusable. I deleted it after half an hour of trying to get it to work. I would be fine with staying with the old app, but every time I have tried to use it today, I get a nag to "upgrade". Whoever designed this mess needs a stern talking to. Note to whoever designed the App Store. I did indeed rate the app, I intended to give it no stars, that should be an option.

Why do you insist on making weather users jump through hoops just to get a weather forecast? I have no interest in scrolling through several menus and news stories just to get to todays forecast, which by the way is incomplete. When I opened the old weather app, I knew the expected high temp, low temp, "feels like" temp, current temp, wind and humidity level, all immediately on-screen and accompanied by a visual radar. I had the option to scroll for more in-depth info, but the essentials were immediately available in one view. With the new app, I had to go through menus just to get to the weather, THEN scroll down and then scroll through your hourly forecast just to find the expected high and low temps because they were not immediately listed in the first view. That is more than Im willing to do when other apps exist that are extremely accurate and will give me my information faster. I have no interest in spending that much time in your app. Maybe others will disagree, but for me, youve missed the mark. Very disappointed.

This app is useless if you want the weather. I dont want to have to jump through all this crap just to get to the weather. The previous app was quick, easy, and detailed. It was the perfect weather app. This new one though, forget it!!!
