I dont know why replace ct weather with this app! This app is a mess!

As a golfer I used all the info in the hourly screen to map out my round. Where is that info now? Back to the App Store.

This is a weather app that sends 4 pushes per day about weather.... Every tease is also regarding the weather and this is on sunny days...

The first screen tells me to choose my internet provider. Since the most popular ones are shown as graphic blocks and mine is near the top, its easy to find. (Of course, theres an ad on the page, partially obscuring the Internet graphics.) Then, when I tap the block for my provider, nothing happens. No log-in screen is presented. Useless app.

This review will not let me rate this app as zero stars. Like the channel 8/ WTNH app (also deleted) there are loud, intrusive, video advertisements that seem to be programmed to shatter the silence every 15 or 20 seconds. I have deleted this app, too. Yes, you can probably turn your volume down or off... But if your finger accidentally touches the app while youre in bed and your partner had already fallen asleep, or you check your phone really quick in the back of a movie theater, youll get that startling blast of annoying advertisement. Bye-bye NBC CT!

I really like this app! It is extremely easy to use, it has a multitude of great features (I frequent the traffic maps), and it can be programmed to send alerts right to your phone! The one thing that I would love to see added, though, would be the ability to re-watch newscasts after they have aired, up until the next live newscast. So, for instance, being able to view the morning news up until 11:00 am, when the 11:00 am newscast begins. I have seen that capability on other news apps, and I think that it would be a great addition to your already fantastic app. I love your early morning news, but I am never awake at 4:30 am to view it! I would love to be able to catch it through a replay! Thank you, and I really enjoy the NBC Connecticut App! Jamie :)

Ive noticed in the latest update, that any story with a video will automatically play when you open the story. This will still happen when youre on cellular data and not wi-fi. I cant seem to find any setting to turn this behavior off. If I really want to watch the video, I can start it playing myself. I just want to read the news but now its increasingly difficult to do so. Please add an option to turn off this behavior.

TV 30 app was ok until they decided we were too dumb to read the news, and needed the non-optional video from the on air news, complete with ads. DELETED APP! GOODBY TV 30 NEWS!

Too difficult to see without my reading glasses. Too much nonsense.

The weather app prompted me to update, which I did. The new app doesnt have weather radar. The entire app reminds me of a bait and click page that you get on Facebook. The entire UX team who worked on the development of this app should be fired and never be allowed to touch a keyboard ever again. Because giving zero stars isnt an option, I reluctantly gave it 1 star and now I feel slimy for doing so. DO NOT GET THIS APP.

the update ruined this app. too many features are now gone including my favorite, seeing what times weather occurred for the following couple days. i cant get a good forecast for any other day other than the today one. not a good weather app.

I relied on this app for the weather updates but will not any more. Sometimes it loads the weather data, other times not. I cant select other locations to view the weather report out of the area, for, say, travel out of state. Ive deleted and re-downloaded it but I am not holding out hope. This was a pretty good app until changes were made to make it non-functional. What was the point? There was not one improvement that resulted. I do not recommend this app. If I could have given it negative stars I would have.

Ive been enjoying this app daily for a long time up until the most recent update. I cannot stand these auto play ads and videos that you cannot mute. It even overrides the silence switch on your phone. Before, if I wanted to watch the video, Id hit play and now I have no choice but to listen to an ad without the power of stopping it. Attempting to stop it takes you to the ads website. Very annoying. Im deleting this app.

Ive used this app for years until they started putting in 30 second ads that start playing by themselves. You cant pause or close them. You have very little control and you may not be in an environment where a tv ad blasting from your phone all of a sudden would be welcome. Goodbye

This app used to be good until the most recent update. Now it is HORRIBLE! All the articles I want to read have videos attached to them which now start automatically. I DONT WANT TO WATCH THE VIDEOS NBC!!! IF I WANTED TO WATCH VIDEOS OF THE NEWS, I WOULD TURN ON THE TV!!! Please come out with a switch to turn the auto videos off, it is VERY ANNOYING. I will be using the CNN app until this is resolved.

When you click on a weather notice there is no navigation back to anywhere in landscape. You have to rotate to portrait first. This app is still terrible. The content is this and riddled with click-bait. Fire the developers please!

What is with all the videos that play whether you want to see them or not?!! Very annoying! Bring the option of watching a video, dont force it on us!!!!!

This used to be a decent news app, but as others have noted, videos play automatically now and the audio blasts at full volume even if your ringer volume is zero and phone is switched to mute. Will be deleting.

This app gets worse and worse. What makes it worse is that they dont care what customers think. They promote this app constantly. Now when you open a story either an ad or videos start right up and it doesnt allow the you the option of starting it when you want. Just when they want. Its amazing how they have to control your phone on how you view things. They dont give you a choice. We do have choices. Just dont download their app

I love it that it keeps me up to date with the weather but I wish that you guys will also keep the app up to date too.
